  • Service delivery: Scheduling, routing, and confirming valet trash and recycling pickups.
  • Waitlist management: Notifying you of launch status, enrollment thresholds, and service availability in your area.
  • Communications: Sending transactional emails and, with your consent, SMS messages about your account and service.
  • Billing and payments: Processing subscription payments and issuing invoices to HOA entities.
  • Service improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to improve our website, routing efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Legal compliance: Meeting our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.
  • Marketing (with consent): If you have opted into marketing communications, we may send you information about new services, markets, or special offers.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

03 SMS / TEXT MESSAGING (A2P)

A2P 10DLC Registered Messaging Program Bin There Before sends text messages via registered A2P 10DLC campaigns in compliance with TCPA, CTIA guidelines, and wireless carrier requirements.

3.1 What We Send

When you opt in to SMS communications from Bin There Before LLC, you may receive the following types of text messages:

  • Transactional / Service Messages: Pickup confirmation alerts, weekly pickup reminders, service change notifications, account notices, and billing alerts.
  • Informational Messages: Market launch notifications, waitlist status updates, and service expansion announcements.
  • Promotional Messages: New service announcements, special offers, and community updates — only if you separately consent to marketing SMS.

3.2 Message Frequency

Transactional messages are sent up to 4–6 times per month per active service subscription. Frequency may vary based on your pickup schedule, account events, and market activity. Promotional messages are sent at a lower frequency and only with your separate consent.

3.3 Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier text messaging and data rates may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are controlled by your wireless carrier, not by Bin There Before LLC.

3.4 How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Bin There Before by:

  • Providing your mobile phone number on our opt-in form at bintherebefore.com/reserve-your-spot-dfw and checking the SMS consent checkbox.
  • Texting START to our SMS short code or long code (provided at enrollment).
  • Verbally or in writing consenting to SMS communications when interacting with our team.

Opt-in consent is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving service.

3.5 How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message we send. You will receive one final confirmation text and no further messages will be sent.
  • Emailing [email protected] with your name and phone number requesting removal from SMS communications.

After opting out, we will not send further SMS messages except a single opt-out confirmation and any messages required by law. Opting out of SMS does not cancel your service subscription.

3.6 Help Keyword

Reply HELP to any text message to receive program information and customer support contact details. You may also text INFO for a summary of the messaging program.

3.7 No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data

Critical A2P Disclosure: Mobile opt-in data and consent — including your phone number and the fact that you have opted in to receive SMS messages from Bin There Before — will never be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or messaging purposes. This data is used solely to operate Bin There Before's own messaging program as described in this policy.

3.8 SMS Data Stored

In connection with our SMS program, we store: your mobile phone number, your opt-in date and method, opt-out date (if applicable), message delivery logs, and records of consent. This information is retained for compliance purposes for a minimum of four (4) years from the date of collection or last interaction.

04 INFORMATION SHARING & DISCLOSURE

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business, subject to confidentiality agreements. These include:

  • CRM and marketing platforms (e.g., Go High Level / LeadConnector) — for contact management, waitlist tracking, and communication automation.
  • Payment processors — for billing and subscription management. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • SMS platform providers — for delivery of text messages. These providers are bound by TCPA/CTIA compliance requirements and may not use your data for their own marketing purposes.
  • Website hosting and analytics providers — for site operation and traffic analysis.
  • Email service providers — for sending transactional and marketing emails.

4.2 HOA / Property Management Entities

If your community is enrolled under an HOA community contract, we may share limited information (such as your unit address and service status) with your HOA or property manager for the purpose of administering community services. We do not share your personal contact information with your HOA without your consent, except as required to administer the service contract.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

4.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our website prior to such a transfer and your information becoming subject to a different privacy policy.

4.5 What We Do NOT Do

We do not: Sell your personal data to data brokers or advertisers. Share your SMS opt-in status or phone number for third-party marketing. Send your information to lead generation networks. Use your data for purposes beyond those described in this policy.

05 DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • Waitlist records: Retained until you opt out, your market launches and you convert to an active account, or 24 months from last interaction, whichever comes first.
  • Active customer records: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 36 months following account closure, for billing dispute resolution and legal compliance.
  • SMS consent records: Retained for a minimum of 4 years from date of consent or last messaging interaction, as required for TCPA compliance documentation.
  • Payment records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations, typically 7 years.
  • Website analytics data: Retained in aggregated, anonymized form indefinitely; raw session logs retained for up to 13 months.

Upon expiration of retention periods, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

06 COOKIES & TRACKING

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. Types of cookies we use:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the website to function correctly (e.g., session management, form state). Cannot be disabled.
